Arshad Shaikh studied Civil Engineering before finding his way to the camera — a background that shows up as patience on set and a structural sense of how a scene is built, beat by beat.

Schooled at The Doon Dhruva Public School, Dehradun, he grew up moving between Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi and English — a range he now carries into character work, accents, and dialogue.

His influences run classic to contemporary: Dilip Kumar and Irrfan Khan for restraint, Shah Rukh Khan for presence, Daniel Day-Lewis for total immersion.
